Dr. Arun Gandhi spent his teen years with his Grandfather, peace and nonviolent activist, Mahatma Gandhi. He was 12 when he moved to India to live with Grandfather, and his transition from his boyhood to adulthood was spent with the elder Gandhi, and receiving at least one hour per day of one-on-one attention from him, despite a schedule that would make world leaders today cringe. Arun is a masterful storyteller, weaving story with takeaway and shares laughter and reflection on today's world, political climate, the essence of human beings and his grandfather's lessons about life that we've still yet to grasp today. Empowering and important interview. The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human LLC. (c) 2015 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Post-production Mottram Media Group, Perth, Aus. @JakeSasseville

![]() Sabin Lomac is co-founder of a company that is one of the top investments in Shark Tank history. Cousins Maine Lobster, then a lobster truck business with a single truck in California, was co-founded by Cousins Sabin and Jim. After receiving an investment from Barbara Corcoran, Cousins Maine Lobster franchised across the country, and just opened up a restaurant in West Hollywood. Life wasn't always so grand for Sabin. A son of a single mom in Southern Maine with lots of energy and no outlet for it, Sabin was in jail (many) times and his Big Brother in the Big Brothers / Big Sisters organization saved his life. He now serves on the Board. A wicked episode with a wicked human being, Sabin talks business, love, mentorship, following your gut and is entertaining as hell. Thanks Sabin. Human Rights and the Middle East are both important topics right now, and Parivash Rohani, who escaped Iran just before the revolution in 1979, is no better person to speak with about it. At age 18, after her family's home was burned to the ground due to religious persecution, Parivash's parents hid her in her cousin's dorm room at a local university. Before ending up in Orange County, CA and eventually settling in Maine, Parivash escaped to India, where she met her husband and had her first child. Recently, because of ill parents, Parivash went back to Iran -- not once, but twice -- despite the dangers of doing so as a member of the Baha'i Faith. An incredible story that will humanize the situation in the Middle East for you. Enjoy, Jake The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human. (c) 2015 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Andrena Hale was the youngest director's rep in the history of the music business under Puffy in the 90s. She worked at Bad Boy before transitioning into television as a successful producer and creator. The credits are exhaustive, but beyond the TV credits, there's a soulful hustle and giant heart that Andrena shares with the world. She tells how she's made in a business that's lethal for most human beings, let alone a black woman from Detroit. As she says at the end, "I'm 47 and I believe in finding soul a mate, and I don't believe God puts a desire in your heart without it being possible to achieve it." Thank you Andrena. Takashi Spector is a former creative at Cole Hahn who's been a model for Kith NY, Vogue, New York Fashion Week, New Balance and Timberland. Conceived by Japanese and American parents, Takashi grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, quickly learning about Buddhism, and applying its principles to a living non-attached life. He's just returned from an eight month rendezvous in Bali, modeling and traveling. An inspirational voice discussing culture, fashion, good-looks, people and what it means to him to be a global citizen. Loved this interview.
