Lewis Howes opens up about his new book -- The School of Greatness -- and his new outlook on life. The former AFL football player and decathlete talked about a wide range of issues including family trips to see his brother who was in jail during his childhood, how his secrecy around being raped as a child caused him to lash out in other ways as an adult and what he's found is the common thread between all those who he's interviewed in his School of Greatness podcast. I also thought it was refreshing for Lewis -- a man's man and pro athlete -- to talk about how men should be more vulnerable and emotionally available in life. Definitely rate this one as one of my favorites. Thank you Lewis. -- Jake His new book -- The School of Greatness: A Real-World Guide to Living Bigger, Loving Deeper and Leaving a Legacy is available for order now.

Rainn Wilson, star of "The Office," Founder of Soul Pancake and Best-Selling Author & Activist, opens up and shares his heart today on the show. Rainn talks about growing up in Nicaragua and Washington, what two things most break marriages apart (and how both happened for him and his wife at the same time), what he did during his 10 year break as a member of the Baha'i Faith and the wisdom he's found in learning about others' Religion rather than asserting his own. This episode is an honest portrait of a guy that played Dwight K. Schrute on "The Office" and who makes it his life's work to serve others. Enjoy -- Jake @RainnWilson His new book: The Bassoon King: My Life in Art, Faith and Idiocy, is available for Pre-Order now on Amazon. The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human. After 130 episodes, Jake is interviewed on his own show. Big Brother Executive and Creator Shed Simove prepared an interview of Jake. In this remarkably candid, honest interview, Jake shares insights on a road less traveled -- from starting out as a 14 year old magician first scouted by "The Tonight Show" to becoming the youngest host in late night TV history on ABC, to watching his brother die of cancer and his life falling apart around his 27th birthday, the interview is packed with ideas of how we all can create a world where empathy and compassion rule. It takes the real life events -- a play by play of my life in Maui -- and brings them to you in an almost fictional, always honest and simple story. We've heard you and know that you love the NEWS segment in the normal show, so we're considering making it it's own show. Enjoy, Jake The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human LLC. Before becoming the most famous substitute teacher in the country this week, Kondwani Fidel thought he'd be a lawyer. That's because his grandma said he liked to argue. Kondwani is 22 and earlier this week a student in one of his classes released a video of him spitting a poem he wrote about his childhood growing up in inner city Baltimore. His parents were crack addicts, his dad's in jail, his friends have been killed and his 75-year-old grandma believed in him so much she found a way to put him in private school. This year, Kondwani graduated with a degree in English and returned to Baltimore to give back. The poem connected with the kids in the classroom, and has been shared 3+ million times all over the Internet. We asked Kondwani to do an interview -- but what we found was more than a man who's poem went viral -- Kondwani is an artist who's life experience has set him on a path of contributing massively to the world. At a time when the #BlackLivesMatter movement is filled with unrest and antagonism, hear from a guy who truthfully tells his story about what life is really like for millions of black lives and that all of them do matter. And why we should care. Very proud of this show -- Enjoy, and thanks Kondwani. - Jake Buy his book of poetry --> www.KondwaniFidel.com The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human. Sure, hiphop starlit Kayla Brianna's dad is NBA legend Kenny Smith, her grandma sang in Ray Charles' band and her step-grandmother was Carole King, but don't think for one second that Kayla doesn't stand on her own two feet. At 21, she's already produced and sang with Birdman and Meek Mill, her second season of "Meet the Smiths" for TBS begins taping shortly and her philosophy about life is important for young women to hear. She describes herself as the overlap in her groups of friends between "those that like to turn up in the club" and "those that want to read Deepak Chopra." Thanks Kayla. @kaylabriannax The Jake Sasseville Show is produced by Profoundly Human LLC. (c) 2015 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Post-produced by Mottram Media Group in Perth, Aus. @JakeSasseville |

Sean Patrick has a mission that is also a brand: "That Guy Who Loves the Universe." He's an Anti-Spiritual Guru, though. Part educated psychologist and part spiritual life coach, Sean is in his mid-20s, a likable fella from Liverpool, England. His take on spirituality and psychology and the new age folks is interesting and at times, rather hilarious. We talk sex, relationships, polyamory, the power of our dreams and how spiritual folks who always speak so damn positively can really get in the way of deep, profound, authentic human connection. Shed Simove is an inventor of products that have sold 1+ million units, a TV executive that created Big Brother in the UK, a best-selling author (wait till you hear how!) and an entrepreneur that is pushing us all beyond the limits of what we think is possible, plausible or necessary. And that's where the magic happens. I first met Shed at a cafe where he proceeded to show me his inventions, including a flying helicopter with the word "F*CK" on it (a "Flying Fuck"). During our meeting in 2007 (I was 21!), he received a call from the equivalent of the NY Times in London. Before I knew it, we dashed to the lobby of the Telegraph only for Shed to fly his Flying F*CK around the lobby and get front page coverage next day. And so it goes. While Shed won't admit it, I will: Deep down, he's a philosopher at life, and through wacky inventions and TV shows and entrepreneurial activity, Shed reminds us all what we're here to do: explore, dream, use our minds and be kind. Thank you Shed.
