At more than 200 episodes and 5+MM downloads, Jake Sasseville’s long-running talk show is a catalyst to the heart and mind. It features inspirational interviews with masters, heart-searching conversations with presidents of fortune 500 companies and NBA teams and highlights the common thread of what makes us all profoundly human. Widely considered as one of the most influential interviewers of his generation (and the youngest TV host in late night TV history on ABC), Jake’s style is inquisitive, humorous and heartfelt. He’s open about weight issues, watching his brother die when he was 17, failing in dozens of business ventures during his 20s, his recovery in 12 step programs — and his most recent move to Maui, the launch of his Institute and his global real estate endeavors.

Esther Perel is one of my favorite people to interview. A psycho-therapist, with 30 years of experience in her New York clinic, is a provocateur, and specialist in areas of relating and relationships, infidelity and the psychology of love.

This interview almost didn't happen -- the interview picks up as Esther enters our studio in New York, just off a plane from Mexico, where we had to helicopter her off a mountain. She and I met after I was cheated on many years ago. I have dreamed of this sit down since.

This is Esther like you've never heard her before.

LIVE EPISODE from Maui Tea Ceremony.

Gabe Marihugh, Tea Master and Doctor of Divinity, Puerto Rican's own Laura Michelle, Reiki Master Jay Huitt are the tea regulars and me enjoy 2 hour tea ceremonies every Monday at the Sacred Garden on Maui.

Sound crazy? It is. The tea is from the foothills of Asia, stronger than ever, and we talk about life, love and as is the case with tea, people show up throughout the two hours. Characters from around the world in a podcast. Rogan's 3+ hour podcast inspired me to try this and do it unedited.

Simon Crowe is one of these superhuman characters in the world -- not because of all that he has accomplished, but because of how he shows up in conversation and in the lives of those around him.

Although our conversation started out about Liberia, West Africa, its history, and his work there and around the world with coaches and peak performance specialists, it's Simon's detour into his relationship that is most revealing, and in the process, instructive, for the rest of us looking for, or being OK with being in, Love.

Simon Crowe: “If we hold onto it, it means we don't actually think we can keep it in our lives. By letting go (of my relationship) there was so much more of it that instantly became available.”

Thank you Simon!

Razi Wilson is a photographer who cut her teeth at Vogue and Newsweek in New York City.

She's my neighbor on Maui and we're BFFs. She's half Persian, married to an Australian, a Baha'i, a mom of three and generally is one of the kindest, friendliest people I know. She's a riot and substantial, too.

I love introducing my friends to others, so this episode is all about introducing you to my friend Razi!

Chinese American pioneer Amy Hall is head of Social Consciousness and Responsibility for Eileen Fisher and has been since the early 90s.

Freshly out of a career in her 20s as a fundraiser, a self-proclaimed introvert and newly divorced, Amy found her way to the Eileen Fisher clothing brand and started employing strategies around corporate consciousness, a foreign language in fashion and big business at the time.

I'll let Amy Hall tell you the rest.

When Beyonce's "Lemonade" came out, Yvette Noel-Schure, her 20+ year publicist, admitted that she saw an opportunity on a global level for a generational healing to begin happening.

In her first-sit-down conversation with the millennial (Elaine Welteroth, Editor in Chief of Teen Vogue) she paved the road for without even knowing it decades as Editor of Black Beat Magazine in 1986, Yvette shares intensely personal stories, while Elaine goes in-depth on her creative process, for Teen Vogue, and now her TV credits including Grown-Ish, the power of surrendering instead of hustling, and what this next generation of women leaders and thinkers need to understand about foundational values before pursuing dreams.

Love these women, and am so grateful for their time, energy and collective wisdom.

Elaine Welteroth, FMR Editor in Chief of Teen Vogue, was in diapers when Yvette Noel-Schure (publicist to Prince, Beyonce, Adele, etc.) was paving the way for her.

Elaine, at 29, became the youngest editor in Conde Nast history. She grew up in California to what she calls a hippy dad and a soulful mom.

Yvette, born in Grenada, came to the United States in the 70s and went to City College of New York.

This is an incredible moment where two women, of two generations, one who paved the way for the other, and both who have tapped into spirituality and kindness as their paths to success, meet and have a conversation for the very first time.

I am so excited for you to hear this!

Part II of my interview with Dave Kayani is all about the straw that often breaks the camel's back.

We don't always realize what it is, our role in it, or how to fix it -- but inevitably, when a friendship is ruined, there's two involved and there's usually only one way to fix it: step into it together.
