![]() You probably know TUCKER MAX [@TuckerMax] for being a self-described "asshole, not the biggest one, just the one who's just willing to write about it." In reality, the Kentucky born lawyer became famous for his "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" book (and subsequent movie, hear why Tucker thinks it tanked at the box office). What followed were two other best-sellers, making Tucker one of three (Malcolm Gladwell and Michael Lewis included) authors to have three books on the NY Times Best Sellers list at the same time. Tucker is 40 now, and we caught up with him on his jog at his home in Austin, TX. Tucker is thoughtful, the author of "Mate: Become the Man Women Want," the founder of "Book in a Box" and the dad of 18-month old Bishop. We explore therapy, what gives him fulfillment these days, what his early success taught him and how re-defining his personal brand meant letting go of 75% of his audience. Thank you Tucker. Episode brought to you by Casper. Great deal - $50 off a brand new mattress and 100 days to try it out, risk free. Don't love it? They'll pick it up. casper.com/jake keyword JAKE.
