At more than 200 episodes and 5+MM downloads, Jake Sasseville’s long-running talk show is a catalyst to the heart and mind. It features inspirational interviews with masters, heart-searching conversations with presidents of fortune 500 companies and NBA teams and highlights the common thread of what makes us all profoundly human. Widely considered as one of the most influential interviewers of his generation (and the youngest TV host in late night TV history on ABC), Jake’s style is inquisitive, humorous and heartfelt. He’s open about weight issues, watching his brother die when he was 17, failing in dozens of business ventures during his 20s, his recovery in 12 step programs — and his most recent move to Maui, the launch of his Institute and his global real estate endeavors.

Marc Gafni is a controversial and remarkable spiritual leader and author of more books than I can count. He created the Success 3.0 Summit with John Mackey (CEO of Whole Foods) and Ken Wilbur. He invited Arianna Huffington, Alanis Morissette and Tony Hsieh to speak among two dozen others.

More than his accomplishments, Marc’s commitment to love, growth and expansion is what I found most impressive. He talks about the shared story of meaning and how desperately we need it.

Marc was a child of parents who survived Holocaust and he talked about how this impacted him. We talk about OUTRAGEOUS LOVE and how to LOVE OUTRAGEOUSLY.

Marc discusses the power dynamics in sexual and spiritual relationships and addresses the allegations of his own sexual impropriety over the years honestly and lovingly. Was touched by his openness. You will be, too.

Hip-hop Artist + Producer Gregory Stutzer has opened for B.o.B, Wale, DJd for Tyra Banks and corporate clients -- but perhaps his most meaningful work is his new single, "Let Go," out today, about the suicide of his childhood best friend, Mike.

Greg is half black, half white, born in Tanzania, grew up in Kansas City and speaks to so many of who we are as dreamers, immigrants, artists and creators.

He considers himself an “African kid with a white dad that didn’t know his place, but musically, the tribal melodies and exotic guitar riffs were imprinted on me.”

The “Halfblood prince” moved to Kansas City, Missouri and got involved with crowds he wasn’t proud of. He talks Faith, music, mental illness and the suicide of his best friend.

We debut the single "Let Go" at the end of the episode.

Enjoy the show, thanks as always for listening. Jake

In Part 2 of my interview with Adam Barr, Emmy winning producer, he tells me about the "stupid business of Hollywood," including how it's a one "ruled by sociopaths." (again, from Adam's mouth)

And yet, he says, "I love it more than anything, because I can create. But I don't forget that it's ephemeral."

Thank God for honesty and redemption. This is perfect for any writer, actor, director in the business or aspiring. We take a sober trip down memory lane on his various gigs, inside the insane world of writer's rooms and TV pitch meetings. and Adam shares the relevant pearls of wisdom and intimacy of it all.

"I've seen more tears in a comedy writer's room than not."

Adam shares on what it's like to work so closely with people like Julia Louis Dreyfus (Seinfeld, Christine, VEEP), Jimmy Burrows (Friends, Will and Grace, Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory, Mary Tyler Moore), Debra Messing (Will and Grace, Smash) and Conan O’Brien.

This two-parter is one for the record books. Thanks Adam. Enjoy everyone.

(P1) Emmy winning TV writer & producer Adam Barr and I first met when I was 17. In fact, I'll be the first to say that Adam gave me my "big break," inviting me, a then overweight (350 pounds) local access TV host in Maine, onto the NBC set of "Will and Grace" in Los Angeles to interview the entire cast. It set my life on a whole new trajectory, taught me that anything was possible and created so much joy.

Adam's credits include "Will and Grace," "Desperate Housewives," "Old Adventures of New Christine," "Suburgatory," "The New Normal," "Growing Up Fisher," "Kath and Kim," among other gigs.

We talk about growing up in the same town in Maine, how our mom's knew each other and then we deep dive into the HOWs and WHYs of comedy and TV and the ins and outs of surviving in Hollywood for nearly three decades.

Adam talks about "Will and Grace" and how all the actors originally refused the roles. Plenty of laughs and touching insight.

This is one of my favorite, most profound and far-reaching interviews I've ever done. Proud and blissed out. Enjoy it.

Sean Stephenson may only be a 2-foot-8-inch man, but his global reach and message is undeniable.

I asked if Sean would come on the show, having heard of him before from my friends at Summit Series, but never having imagined I'd meet a philosopher and psychotherapist all in one.

Doctors said Sean wouldn't live beyond age 1 due to Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease). He's now 35 and proudly says "I've outlived most of the doctors that mis-diagnosed me."

He willingly addresses my probing about his sex life and his marriage, addressing recent tabloid rumors that he's unable to satisfy his wife sexually. Apparently everyone talks about his sex life, but never to him. He was happy for the question. He has shared the stage and friendship with Bill Clinton, the 14th Dalai Lama and Tony Robbins.

“We work because we’re trying to figure out ourselves… the best speeches I've given are the ones where I've gotten on stage and spoken to myself.”

This episode is for anyone with any physical, mental or emotional handicap, and thanks to Sean, you can recognize that you are not your condition.

Shabs Mogharabi is the CEO of SoulPancake.com. She talks about YouTube as a business, insider trends and insights, the wisdom of arranged marriages, her business partnership with "The Office" star Rainn Wilson and creating a media company filled with joy and laughter.

Soul Pancake was founded in 2009 and the YouTube channel launched in 2012. Three years and nearly a billion video views later, Shabs and the team produce hit series and plenty of feel-good and heart-felt material. We take a deep dive to understand what makes the company and its people tick.

Loved our matter-of-fact and genuine conversation.

Nathan Otto and I talked about the trickiness of inheriting lots of money. Interesitng how shame often comes up around whether or not we work for something we receive, and how we deal with success (and failure).

Nathan co-founded Holometrics with Bryan Franklin, a company that measures an organization's alignment. We take a deep dive into corporate and organizational structure, leadership and how to engage with teams. Sounds dense, but of course, we made it light and Nathan makes it fascinating.

Tangentially, we talk about what makes a best friend, including play and pleasure, how Nathan deals with freedom challenges in his marriage and shame around money and receiving it.

Nathan's wonderful and I learned a lot. You will too.

“We are all already unified. We are the ones that cause separation. What’s happening is our pretense of being separate tribes no longer works because all of our borders touch each other.”

Laura Robinson is the creator of the board game BALDERDASH. Twenty nine years ago with her then boyfriend Paul, the two saw the success of Trivial Pursuit and thought: "Hey, we can do that!"

She's been an actress for years, having guest starred in Frasier and Cheers, but she's most enjoyed a life and career of playing games. She's the creator of "Celebrity Name Game" along with partners Courtney Cox and David Arquette, and she dishes on how she pitched and sold the show almost a half dozen times before it got on air.

I found my interview with Laura refreshing. We talked about maintaing joy amidst rejection (after rejection!), had quite a few laughs and insights, too. For any actors, creators, inventors or those obsessed with the business of TV or board games, this interview is for you. Enjoy.

Alex Allman is the Founder of RevolutionarySex.com. Undoubtedly, one of my most awkward lift-off’s in an interview yet! Alex was gracious and made the ride a little less bumpy.

I started off with a story of multiple male orgasms sans ejaculation (something Alex is studying), and from there we steered into sex, sexual energy, shame and porn, what is man’s worst enemy when it comes to sex, and more. At the end of the interview, Alex gives (3) tips on how to re-wire any relationship you have, sexual or otherwise.

“Multiple male orgasms without ejaculation is like when a boxer who trains for years learns not to flinch when hit. It’s only at that moment of not flinching, that the boxer can really box.”

The Rabbi joins me today for a great chat about Religion, its purpose, our purpose, and how revolution in human consciousness requires us to get beyond the tribalist mentality.

Loved the Rabbi. He's authored 23 books, one even on his addictions and recovery in 12-step program.  Rabbi Rami has the most human-focused approach to Religion I've heard. He refers to Religion as Languages, and Judiasm is simply his mother tongue. Should be a real treat for you all to hear.

“Religion tells us more about the worshippers more than the object of their worship."
